It’s harvest time! Cannabis, like coffee, tea and wine, is different every season. The elements involved in growing any of these plants are different every year. The soil, the rain, the sun, the pests, the pollination, the microbes; all are nature's ingredients and like good ol' home cooking - there are infinite variations on the recipe. Each years harvest, be it a vineyard full of grapes, a sea of green cannabis or an old tea forest, is different, unique, rare and brings the robust joy and excitement of new experience.
CERTAIN REGIONS ARE WELL SUITED FOR PRODUCING QUALITY OUTDOOR CANNABIS
Just like when growing wine, coffee and tea, certain parts of the world are well suited for producing quality cannabis. In the interest of conserving the authenticity of traditional quality, many of these regions are protected by the master growers who have cultivated for generations. The rituals associated with wine, tea and coffee have been refined and practiced with an appreciation for their beauty, honor, heritage, culture, the farms and their growers. Cannabis has the resume to compete with any of them.
WHEN WE FIND THE “RIGHT” STRAIN
Finding the “right” strain of cannabis with the perfect ratio of cannabinoids such as CBD, THC, CBN, CBG, etc, allows one to truly unlock the power of medicinal cannabis. This is the moment cannabis evangelists are made! However, when we head back to the dispensary to purchase the same thing, it often isn’t available. Everyone knows about the variables associated with wine, coffee and tea. But the frustration with cannabis’ variations is new to many.
